9:30 am – 12:30 pm & 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Registration fee: $350 Salmagundi Members, $375 for non-members.

Oil Painting Workshop: This workshop will concentrate on painting a head from life in a traditional manner in oil.  The two main goals of this workshop is to see the unique abstract forms on the model to achieve a greater reality – as in a Sargent painting; and to develop form to create depth and solidity in order to paint a solid head in an atmosphere – as in a Rembrandt painting. Ginsburg will demonstrate and give critiques as needed. A list of required supplies will be available upon registration.
